The Clearing Retreat
A shared passage into what’s next.
About The Retreat
The Clearing Retreat is a daylong, in-person experience for women and nonbinary individuals who want time and space away from daily life to reflect on what’s shifting and make sense of what is beginning to emerge.
If you feel something changing beneath the surface—a loosening, a questioning, a desire for a different pace or a truer way of being—this is for you.
For many people, this passage is unsettling. You may feel disoriented, unmoored from the motivations that once grounded you, or quietly anxious as familiar identities and measures of success begin to lose their hold—before anything new has fully taken shape.
Every person I’ve ever coached in the Clearing has said they felt alone. You are far from it. In this retreat, you’ll recognize the relief and exhilaration of seeing yourself reflected in a community of fellow pathfinders.
-
Over the course of the day, you will:
Learn a simple, grounding framework for understanding midlife as a meaningful and generative developmental shift and passage—not a crisis, but a call toward deeper alignment.
Name the habits, identities, and expectations that once served you—and notice which now feel limiting.
Listen more closely for what’s emerging in you—the longings, values, and truths asking for greater room in your life.
Reflect through journaling, guided exercises, and small-group dialogue designed to surface insights that are often difficult to access alone.
Connect with other thoughtful people who recognize this moment.
Clarify what matters now, and leave with commitments, key questions, and/or experiments to carry forward.
The retreat is a pause, a threshold, and an invitation: a day to slow down, listen beneath the noise, and make room for the self that is quietly—and persistently—asking to come forward.
-
This retreat is for women who feel a quiet knock—the sense that something in you wants more room to breathe.
You might be:
Standing in a successful life but feeling strangely disconnected from it
Carrying a fatigue you can’t quite name
Realizing you’ve outgrown some of the roles, habits, or expectations that once kept you safe
Wondering, “Is this it?” or “What happens now?”
Longing for a pause—a place outside of proving and performing—to hear what your deeper self is trying to say
Craving community with other thoughtful, accomplished women navigating similar terrain
This is for you if you know something is changing—you just haven’t yet had the space to listen.

Participants in the first Clearing Retreat rated the day as “very” or “deeply” valuable. They highlighted the power of the small-group conversations, live coaching with Rachel, and the opportunity to reflect openly with others navigating similar questions about identity, ambition, and transition.

Rachel is so authentic, relatable, knowledgeable and awesome to talk to. Her humility and great questions as a coach were validating, challenged me to think more deeply and helped me to gain better insight. I feel lucky to have gotten to do the retreat and highly recommend it to anyone who gets the chance!
